Paris Saint-Germain are now just one step away from another Ligue 1 title. After a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Brest at the Parc des Princes thanks to a late winner from Désiré Doué, the capital club have almost wrapped up the championship race.
With only two matches remaining, Luis Enrique’s side now hold a six-point lead over Lens while also boasting a vastly superior goal difference. Barring a complete collapse, PSG are set to retain their Ligue 1 crown once again.
PSG One Point Away From The Ligue 1 Title
So how can PSG officially become champions on Wednesday? The situation is extremely simple for the Rouge & Bleu: Paris will mathematically secure the title if they avoid defeat away to Lens. A draw would be enough for the Parisians to officially claim another domestic trophy.
Still riding the wave of excitement following their qualification for the Champions League final against Arsenal, PSG could therefore quickly seal the league title before turning their full attention to the huge European showdown on May 30 in Budapest.
