According to Foot Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Monaco’s American international striker Florian Balogun. The Parisian management reportedly appreciate his profile and have stepped up their efforts in this case, as the club looks for a new centre-forward capable of adding depth and competition in attack.
PSG are already preparing for life after Gonçalo Ramos. With the Portuguese striker having officially left PSG on Tuesday, the capital club are exploring several options to strengthen their attacking department. And one name is now coming up insistently: Florian Balogun.
Balogun Emerges as a Serious PSG Target
Balogun, formerly of Arsenal and now well established on the European stage, has a profile that appeals to PSG: quick, mobile, capable of attacking spaces and already used to the demands of the highest level. His name is therefore among the options being studied by PSG to replace Ramos.
But Paris are not alone in the race. Several Premier League clubs are also said to be monitoring his situation, notably Tottenham and Chelsea. That English competition could quickly complicate the Parisian club’s plans.
The move still needs to be confirmed in the coming days. For now, Balogun is a target appreciated by PSG, but not yet a completed deal. The Parisian transfer window therefore continues to heat up around the centre-forward position.
