Ousmane Dembélé could become the new face of EA Sports FC. According to information published by specialist account @DetectiveFUT, the Paris Saint-Germain forward is reportedly among the options being considered for the cover of the standard edition of FC 27.
The France international could appear alongside Jude Bellingham, with EA Sports reportedly considering a cover featuring the PSG star and the Real Madrid midfielder. Another possibility would be to pair a Real Madrid player with an FC Barcelona representative. At this stage, however, the publisher has made no official announcement.
Dembélé Rewarded After an Exceptional Season?
Featuring Ousmane Dembélé would represent major recognition for the Parisian attacker. Now regarded as one of world football’s leading stars, the Frenchman could benefit from his performances and growing popularity to join the prestigious group of players selected by EA Sports. Jude Bellingham, meanwhile, has already become a key figure for the franchise, appearing on the FC 25 cover and returning alongside Jamal Musiala for FC 26.

A third consecutive appearance for Bellingham on the FC 27 cover would confirm his status as one of EA Sports’ most important ambassadors. Adding Dembélé alongside him would bring a fresh face to the franchise while giving PSG a prominent place on one of football gaming’s most famous covers. Before FIFA became EA Sports FC, stars such as Kylian Mbappé, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Ronaldinho and Thierry Henry had also represented the series.
According to the same rumour, Cristiano Ronaldo could feature on the Ultimate Edition cover of FC 27, recalling the previous FIFA editions in which the Portuguese icon was given a starring role. For now, however, the reports involving Bellingham, Dembélé and Ronaldo should be treated with caution, as EA Sports has not confirmed any official FC 27 cover. The first final visuals will reveal whether Dembélé really is set to become the new face of the famous football simulation.
