Paris Saint-Germain is already preparing for life after Gonçalo Ramos. Following the departure of the Portuguese striker to AC Milan, the Parisian club has reportedly made Ferran Torres one of its top priorities to strengthen its attacking line during the summer transfer window.
According to Fabrizio Romano, PSG highly values the profile of Spanish international Ferran Torres. Capable of playing both centrally and on the wings, the FC Barcelona player perfectly matches Luis Enrique’s expectations, as he favors mobile and versatile forwards. The player has even reportedly given his approval to join the French capital.
Ferran Torres Targeted as Gonçalo Ramos Replacement
The departure of Gonçalo Ramos leaves a significant gap in the Parisian squad. Signed from Benfica in the summer of 2023, the Portuguese forward leaves Paris after scoring 45 goals and providing 10 assists in 131 appearances. His transfer to AC Milan could bring in up to €80 million for PSG, including bonuses.

Part of that fee could be used to try to secure Ferran Torres. At 26, the former Manchester City player already has solid top-level experience. His ability to press, attack spaces, and operate in multiple attacking roles is particularly appealing to the Parisian staff.
However, PSG will need to convince FC Barcelona to let their forward leave. Ferran Torres remains an important part of the Catalan rotation, and his contract still runs for several more seasons. Barça could still be open to a sale if a sufficiently high offer is made. While no official bid has been submitted yet, his name is circulating strongly within the club, and he could become a new competitor to Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in PSG’s attack. The club’s offensive transfer activity is far from over, and Ferran Torres now appears to be one of the most serious options.
