Morgan Rogers is set to complete one of the biggest transfers of the summer. Previously mentioned as a player monitored by Paris Saint-Germain at the beginning of the transfer window, the England international is now expected to join Chelsea instead.
Rogers will remain in the Premier League but is heading to London. The 23-year-old forward is set to leave Aston Villa for Chelsea after the two clubs reportedly reached an agreement worth around €138 million, according to Sky Sports. Arsenal had also been interested in signing the English attacker.
PSG Priced Out as Chelsea Make Their Move
Rogers was briefly linked with PSG during the early stages of the summer window. His powerful, versatile profile and ability to play across multiple attacking positions matched the qualities the French champions were looking for. However, Aston Villa’s soaring valuation quickly made the deal unrealistic for the Parisian club.

Chelsea, meanwhile, decided to act decisively with a massive offer to beat Arsenal and secure the signing of the England international. The move once again highlights the Blues’ financial strength in the transfer market. Unless there is a dramatic late twist, the former Manchester City prospect will leave Aston Villa for Stamford Bridge in one of the biggest transfers of the summer.
