After making significant progress on player departures, Paris Saint-Germain is now moving closer to completing several key signings. The French champions are looking to strengthen every area of the squad, with a particular focus on attacking reinforcements and versatile players capable of fitting into Luis Enrique’s tactical system.
The first expected arrival is Lucas Digne. The French left-back is set to join PSG in a deal worth around €10 million, with a three-year contract reportedly prepared for the former Barcelona and Everton defender. His experience, attacking qualities, and tactical flexibility make him an ideal option to provide support and competition for Nuno Mendes, who carried a heavy workload last season.
Akliouche, Suzuki and Godts Lead PSG’s Recruitment Plans
PSG has also made major progress in its pursuit of Maghnes Akliouche. A full agreement is reportedly in place with AS Monaco for a transfer valued at around €50 million, while the French attacking midfielder is expected to sign a contract running until 2031. His technical ability and versatility, allowing him to operate both centrally and out wide, perfectly match the profile Luis Enrique is seeking.
Negotiations are also well advanced for Japanese international goalkeeper Zion Suzuki. PSG has reportedly submitted an offer worth between €28 million and €33 million, including bonuses, while Parma initially hoped to receive between €35 million and €40 million. Suzuki is viewed as strong competition for Matvey Safonov and Lucas Chevalier thanks to his distribution, physical presence, and comfort in possession. Meanwhile, winger Mika Godts remains one of the club’s top priorities. PSG has already reached personal terms with the Belgian, while Ajax has received an offer worth €40 million plus bonuses. Although the Dutch club is still demanding a higher fee, talks continue, with PSG hoping to finalize the arrivals of Digne, Akliouche, Suzuki, and Godts before turning its attention to Luis Enrique’s remaining transfer priorities.
