Dembélé and Hakimi Target Super Cup Return

After an exceptionally long and demanding season, the French forward could have enjoyed his full period of rest. However, he has chosen to bring forward his return to Paris to prepare with Luis Enrique’s squad, quickly regain match sharpness and give himself every chance of being included for the Super Cup. Achraf Hakimi has made a similar decision and is also expected back at the PSG Campus earlier than planned.

The early return of both players is excellent news for Luis Enrique, who could still have a reduced squad available as several internationals were given delayed holidays following their summer commitments. Dembélé and Hakimi would bring experience, intensity and quality to a PSG side still working its way back to full fitness, although their physical condition will be closely monitored to avoid unnecessary risks.
