Paris Saint-Germain are stepping up their recruitment strategy focused on promising young French talents, but the pursuit of Lacine Megnan-Pavé is proving more complicated than initially expected.
The transfer market is proving difficult for PSG, even when it comes to relatively unknown youngsters. Megnan-Pavé falls into that category. According to RMC Sport, with the information confirmed by Le Parisien, the French champions have made their move for the 16-year-old forward by submitting several official bids. So far, Montpellier Hérault Sport Club have systematically rejected PSG’s approaches and remain determined to keep hold of their highly-rated prospect.
Montpellier Stand Firm Against PSG Offers
PSG have launched a major offensive, making several concrete financial proposals in an attempt to convince Montpellier to sell the youngster during the current transfer window. However, the club from Hérault are demanding significantly stronger financial guarantees or would simply prefer to keep one of the biggest prospects from their academy rather than sell him below their valuation.

PSG are also facing competition. Several other European clubs have made enquiries and submitted offers, but Montpellier have rejected them with the same determination.
