PSG have reached an agreement with Paphos for a season-long loan including an option to buy. Under contract with Paris until June 2028, the young defender is set to experience Cypriot football and could also feature in the Conference League with his new club, according to Le Parisien.

Luis Enrique Still Does Not Count on Zague

This latest departure comes as little surprise. Yoram Zague is still not part of Luis Enrique’s plans for this season. The PSG academy graduate was not invited to return to training with the first team this summer and had been working with the reserve squad while waiting for a solution to be found.

PSG therefore favored another move to allow the defender to get more playing time. After a first experience in Denmark with Copenhagen and a spell in Belgium with Eupen, Zague will now discover a third foreign league. At just 20 years old, his objective will be to play regularly and continue his development.

The inclusion of a purchase option in the agreement with Paphos also leaves the door open to a permanent departure from PSG at the end of the season.
