“The player must feel involved. If someone is better than you, they play. I know who will play tomorrow against Clermont. We will see. I trust all 23 players.”
Luis Enrique also emphasized the importance of the medical staff, which was recently criticized in an article by L’Equipe. “High-level football involves a very high risk of injury. It’s important to have a good medical service so that players can recover quickly. We have specialists. Prevention is important. It’s obvious that we all work as a team around the same goal. We also have a nutrition department. It’s a sport with injuries. We must prevent them, then heal them. We can always improve.”
