A huge shock at the Parc des Princes: PSG were eliminated by Paris FC (0–1) in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France. Ultra-dominant for 90 minutes, the Parisians ran into an exceptional Nkambadio, who produced a string of decisive saves to keep his side alive.
Despite a barrage of chances for Ramos, Barcola, Zaïre-Emery and Kvaratskhelia, Paris never found a way through. And as so often in this kind of scenario, PSG were punished on the first real chance for the opposition: a lightning counter in the 73rd minute, finished by Ikoné after a Kebbal–Camara move.
A Night of Frustration and Heroics
The introductions of Dembélé, Doué and Mendes changed nothing, and Zaïre-Emery even struck the crossbar late on. It was a huge disappointment for PSG and a night of total heroism for Paris FC and their goalkeeper, who proved simply unbeatable.
In the player ratings, Zaïre-Emery (6.5) stood out for his activity and danger, while Barcola (6) and Ramos (6) both had chances but were denied by Nkambadio. Chevalier (5) could do little on the only shot on target he faced, and several others were solid without being decisive. In short: sterile domination, a cruel lack of efficiency, and an elimination that will sting for a long time.
