This Friday, the Brazilian signed with Botafogo-PB, a third-division club based in João Pessoa, in the state of Paraíba in northeastern Brazil. Just shy of 45, Nenê will be discovering his 16th club as a professional.

With 987 professional matches already under his belt, the former Paris player shows he has no desire to hang up his boots. An extraordinary career span, and a passion that remains intact.
