PSG are closing in on the title. This Wednesday evening at Bollaert, a single point against RC Lens will be enough for Luis Enrique’s men to be officially crowned French champions. And just hours before the clash, the first clues about Paris’s line-up are starting to emerge.
Will PSG still be in rotation mode? For such a crucial match, Luis Enrique could once again manage his squad ahead of the Champions League final against Arsenal. Several key players remain doubtful, including Nuno Mendes, Warren Zaïre-Emery and Willian Pacho. Achraf Hakimi, Lucas Chevalier and Quentin Ndjantou are still absent.
PSG Could Rotate Again Before Arsenal
According to early indications, Matvey Safonov should keep his place in goal. In defence, Mayulu could start on the right with Marquinhos and Hernandez behind him, while Pacho is still expected to start despite his uncertain status.
Lens are also weakened. In midfield, João Neves and Fabian Ruiz should line up alongside Beraldo in a more hybrid role. Up front, Luis Enrique is expected to rely once again on a very attacking trio made up of Désiré Doué, Ousmane Dembélé and Bradley Barcola or Kvara.
On the other side, Lens want to spoil Paris’s party in their final home match at Bollaert this season. Pierre Sage will still have to deal with several major absentees, including Gradit, ruled out after suffering a leg fracture, as well as Thauvin and Saint-Maximin.
PSG’s probable line-up: Safonov – Mayulu, Marquinhos, Zabarnyi, Hernandez – Beraldo, Neves, Ruiz – Doué, Dembélé, Barcola.
Lens’s probable line-up: Risser – Baidoo, Sarr, Gainoo – Udol, Sima, Sangaré, Thomasson – Fofana, Saïd – Edouard.
