PSG striker put on forced rest!

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

PSG resumed training on Thursday at the Campus, but with three notable absences: Luis Enrique, Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué.

The internationals are returning gradually after the break, and the coach too. Recently operated on for a broken collarbone after a cycling accident in Spain, Enrique stayed home earlier this week but is expected on the bench for PSG–Lens on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Dembélé (hamstring, six weeks) and Doué (calf, four weeks) remain in the treatment room.

PSG cautious with its stars

On the attacking front, there was some good news: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia returned to the pitch on Thursday after three extra rest days granted by the staff to protect him following international duty. The Georgian winger trained in a small group and should rejoin full team sessions on Friday.

This approach reflects PSG’s broader strategy: targeted rest periods to keep key players fresh throughout a packed season. With Lens in Ligue 1 and Atalanta in the Champions League coming up, the squad may be reduced, but the focus remains sharp.
