€10.5 Million More Up for Grabs
And that total could rise even further. If Paris defeat Arsenal in the Champions League final this Saturday in Budapest, the club would earn an additional €10.5 million.
The overall amount would then approach €150 million. An impressive figure that highlights PSG’s growing influence on the European stage, both on and off the pitch.
According to L’Équipe, that sum would even exceed the total net domestic TV rights revenue shared among the 18 Ligue 1 clubs this season once various commissions have been deducted. It perfectly illustrates the financial gap that now exists between the Champions League and the French league. For PSG, winning Europe’s biggest prize would not only further cement the club’s place in history, but also represent one of the most profitable financial operations ever achieved by a French club.
