Considered one of the brightest prospects to emerge from Paris Saint-Germain’s academy, Ibrahim Mbaye continues to attract attention on the transfer market. At just 18 years old, the forward has frequently been linked with a move away due to his limited playing time with the first team.
Mbaye was heavily involved under Luis Enrique at the start of the season, but his appearances have become much rarer in recent months. Naturally, this has fueled speculation about a possible departure. In recent days, rumors even suggested interest from Aston Villa. However, according to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, PSG have not made any decision to part ways with the young attacker.
Mbaye’s Future Remains Open
In fact, Mbaye has reportedly not reached any agreement, even a verbal one, with another club. Despite interest from several European teams, his future remains completely undecided at this stage.
For his part, the young winger is staying focused on his international duties with Senegal at the 2026 World Cup. While his representatives handle discussions behind the scenes, PSG continue to evaluate the best path for his development and long-term progression.
As things stand, a summer departure appears far from certain. The French champions still view Mbaye as a promising talent, and a final decision regarding his future is expected only after further discussions in the coming weeks.
