Kylian Mbappé and Marco Verratti were spotted at the same place in Paris on Wednesday night. The two former PSG teammates were both at Boum Boum, a famous venue in the capital’s 8th arrondissement. A reunion that certainly did not go unnoticed among Paris Saint-Germain supporters.

Kylian Mbappé is taking advantage of his withdrawal from the France squad to spend a few days in Paris, and his presence has attracted plenty of attention. The France captain injured his left knee against Turkey last Friday, left the national team camp and did not feature against Belgium.

On Wednesday night, the Real Madrid forward was filmed outside Boum Boum alongside Spanish actress Ester Expósito. His appearance has sparked controversy in Spain, where some believe the player should be resting rather than enjoying Parisian nightlife.

Verratti also spotted at the venue

Mbappé was not the only former PSG player there. Marco Verratti can also be seen in footage shared on social media, accompanied by his partner Jessica Aïdi. However, caution is required: while both former Paris players were at the same venue, the available footage does not prove they had planned the night out together. What the images do show is that the two players entered the same club just seconds apart.

Their presence inevitably brings back memories of their years together at PSG, where they shared the dressing room between 2017 and 2023, won several Ligue 1 titles and reached the Champions League final in 2020.

Kylian Mbappé is currently recovering from his left knee injury. Tests carried out after the problem suffered with France reportedly revealed hyperextension of the posterior capsule, while Real Madrid did not immediately announce a precise recovery timeframe. Marco Verratti is also currently injured. The Italian midfielder, who now plays for Al-Duhail, has not been called up by Italy since June 2023.

The two former PSG stars will therefore not be on the pitch at the Stade de France for France vs Italy on Friday night. But their simultaneous appearance at a Paris venue still provided PSG supporters with a brief moment of nostalgia.
