PSG and Jordan are preparing a new collection that should particularly appeal to nostalgic supporters. With the 2026-2027 Third collection set to launch in the coming weeks, a first goalkeeper piece has already leaked. Its design pays direct tribute to Bernard Lama and one of his iconic shirts from the late 1990s.
Jordan is once again drawing inspiration from Paris Saint-Germain’s history. According to information revealed by La Source Parisienne and confirmed by Footy Headlines, the Parisian club will soon release a new Third collection in collaboration with the Jumpman brand. Among the planned items is a spectacular long-sleeved goalkeeper shirt directly inspired by a kit worn by Bernard Lama during the 1997-1998 season.
A direct tribute to Bernard Lama
The design recreates the distinctive look of 1990s goalkeeper shirts. It features a striking red base with black vertical stripes rising from the bottom, while the sleeves have a much more explosive graphic combining purple, blue and black. The overall look clearly recalls the Nike template worn by Bernard Lama with PSG in 1997-1998. Jordan has nevertheless added several modern touches, including a gold Jumpman logo in the centre of the chest, just above a monochrome PSG crest, while Qatar Airways appears as the main sponsor.
The shirt is not expected to be reserved exclusively for goalkeepers. Although its inspiration and design come from a goalkeeper kit, it should also be marketed as a lifestyle piece that supporters can wear away from the pitch. This fits perfectly with the PSG-Jordan collaboration, which has blended football, basketball and streetwear for several years. The shirt will accompany the new 2026-2027 Third kit, which is also expected to feature an original design dominated by black with a multicoloured reinterpretation of the Hechter stripe.
The Bernard Lama tribute shirt is expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks alongside the rest of the collection, with the launch anticipated between September and October. Nearly 30 years after one of the most iconic goalkeepers in PSG history wore the original design, the Lama-era aesthetic is therefore preparing to return to the Parc des Princes — this time under the Jordan logo.
