Rennes – PSG (1-4): Habib Beye Acknowledges Parisian Dominance.
Following Rennes’ 1-4 defeat against PSG on Matchday 25 of Ligue 1, coach Habib Beye spoke to beIN SPORTS, recognizing the superiority of the Parisian side.
Beye admitted that Rennes had a brief moment of hope when the score was 1-2, but ultimately, PSG deserved their victory.
“We needed a bit more personality”
“We dominated, we were in their half, we had the ball. We caused them a lot of problems and had three big chances to equalize. We didn’t take them, and we all know that if you don’t capitalize against teams like this, you pay the price. We knew we wouldn’t have possession for the entire match,” said Beye.
“We needed a bit more personality in the second half and better positioning in advanced areas. Above all, we wanted to keep the ball, which we did better after the break. But when you don’t take advantage of those key moments, you are at the mercy of this PSG team, which is an unstoppable machine this season.”
