Which players will be at PSG’s return to training on July 25?

PSG now know their return-to-training date. According to RMC Sport, the Parisian players who did not take part in the 2026 World Cup are expected at the Poissy Campus on Saturday, July 25. But between World Cup players, those on the way out, loan returnees and youngsters to be integrated, the squad at the restart could look very unusual.

The return will first concern the non-World Cup players still under contract with PSG. Matvey Safonov, Lucas Chevalier, Ilya Zabarnyi, Lucas Beraldo, Dro Fernandez, Senny Mayulu, Quentin Ndjantou and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are notably expected on July 25. Gabriel Moscardo, Renato Marin and Gonçalo Ramos, however, are not expected to be there, with the first two close to loan moves and the Portuguese forward having been transferred to AC Milan.

The players whose PSG futures remain uncertain

Several situations remain unclear. Khalil Ayari, eliminated with Tunisia and newly signed by PSG in complete discretion, could take part in pre-season with the first-team squad. Lee Kang-in, knocked out with South Korea, could also be available for the restart, but his future remains uncertain amid a possible move to Atlético Madrid.

The same applies to Randal Kolo Muani, back from loan and being linked with Juventus. Renato Sanches, Yoram Zague and Naoufel El Hannach could also return, unless there is another departure or they are kept apart from the group. PSG are also expected to integrate several youngsters, including Italian goalkeeper Alessandro Longoni, seen as a future third-choice keeper, as well as Arthur Vignaud and Adam Ayari from the 2008 generation. Willian Pacho and Ibrahim Mbaye, eliminated on July 1 with Ecuador and Senegal, are expected back around July 29 after four weeks of vacation.

The other World Cup players will return later depending on how far their national teams go. The French, Portuguese, Spanish, Brazilian, Moroccan and other players still in the tournament will not be present on July 25. Those who reach the final four will probably only return on the weekend of August 8-9, just as PSG are due to face Manchester United in a friendly, before the UEFA Super Cup against Aston Villa on August 12.
