Luis Enrique has discussed his early days with PSG, expressing his contentment and hope for a long-term stay at the club.

Luis Enrique has no intention of succumbing to the fate of his predecessors at PSG. He is determined to remain with the club for several seasons. Following the victory against Lyon on Sunday night, the Spanish coach shared his ambitions. He stated, “Previous coaches didn’t stay at the club for long, but I have the goal of staying for a VERY long time.”

Luis Enrique also touched upon his integration into France. “French? My wife speaks it better than I do. It’s tougher than I thought. Speaking French is a goal for me, out of respect for the club and the country that has welcomed me. I might be clumsy and slow, but I’m also very stubborn, so I hope to succeed.”

Regarding Neymar’s comments about the “hell” he and Messi endured last year, Luis Enrique took a diplomatic approach. He remarked, “Neymar’s statements about the ‘hell’ they experienced last year are personal experiences; I don’t want to delve into that. I can share my own experience. I’m absolutely delighted, and it feels like I’m leading a team…”
