Mbappé’s Impact, the Year of PSG? Gonçalo Ramos Tells All Before Dortmund

Before the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League 2023/2024 against Borussia Dortmund, Gonçalo Ramos shared his thoughts on various aspects:

Mbappé’s Impact. “He’s one of the players who communicates the most with others. Along with Marquinhos and Danilo, they help us gain confidence. We know what we need to do to meet this challenge.”

The Year of PSG? “We are here to win. There are only four teams left, so we have a 25% chance of winning the Champions League, if we win it will be 50%. We are ready to win.”

The turning point for him? “In the first few months, it’s tough, it takes a period of adaptation. I worked very hard. Everyone helped me to be in the best possible shape. Now, I am confident and playing. Starting tomorrow? It’s not a question for me, I work every day to be in the starting eleven. I’m ready, whether I’m a starter or a substitute. I’m always ready to score goals.”

The whole PSG has changed. “We are more of a team compared to the previous match. We had more time to work. We know each other well. We have added a lot of players and now we are a family. Last time, not all players were available. We are confident, we have done a very good job this season. We are ready.”

Luis Enrique, the coach Paris needed. “What he brought to our team is that nobody knows who will start the match. All players work hard in training. We are ready, the players know what they have to do.”
