Warren Zaïre-Emery had to leave the field during the Coupe de France semi-final match between PSG and Rennes (2-0). Luis Enrique sought to reassure fans about his condition.

During the first half, Zaïre-Emery suffered a knock from Désiré Doué and was replaced by Manuel Ugarte in the 76th minute. The midfielder went to the bench, where ice packs were applied to his right calf and left thigh.

However, PSG’s medical staff doesn’t seem too concerned. In a press conference after the victory against Stade Rennais, Luis Enrique provided reassurance about Warren Zaïre-Emery’s health: “It’s just a knock, nothing serious.”

“There won’t be any problem for the upcoming matches,” stated the PSG coach, as reported by Le Parisien.
