Fabian Ruiz has not forgotten his roots. Back in Seville with the Spanish national team, the PSG midfielder took the opportunity to discuss his attachment to Real Betis, the club where he developed as a player. And the 30-year-old Spaniard is clear: he intends to return one day, but not just yet.
Fabian Ruiz remains deeply attached to Real Betis. A product of the club’s academy before moving to Napoli and then Paris Saint-Germain, the Spain international continues to closely follow the performances of his former team.
Fabian Ruiz Happy at PSG but Dreams of Betis Return
Asked about a possible return to Betis, the PSG midfielder made no attempt to hide his intentions. “I’ve always said it, I try to watch every game and I’m happy with their good results. I’m a big Real Betis fan, everyone knows that. I’d like to return one day,” Fabian Ruiz said.
However, there is no question of leaving Paris immediately. “Now is not the right time, I’m happy at PSG. One day, for sure, yes,” he added. His message is clear: Fabian Ruiz can see himself returning to Betis in the future, but for now his present remains at PSG. At 30, the Spanish midfielder does not yet appear ready to close his Paris chapter.
