The Michael Olise situation is already starting to stir up the 2027 transfer market. Bayern Munich want to extend the France international’s contract, while Real Madrid and Liverpool are among the clubs reportedly interested. PSG, however, are nowhere to be seen in the latest reports.
Michael Olise has become one of Bayern Munich’s most important players. Under contract until 2029, the 24-year-old French forward could soon be offered an extension until 2032. According to SPORT BILD, initial talks are expected to begin after discussions over Harry Kane’s future.
Bayern ready to offer Olise a huge new contract
Bayern are aware, however, that negotiations could prove complicated. SPORT BILD reports that Olise and his adviser Glen Tweneboah have so far given no clear indication that they are willing to extend beyond 2029. Munich could therefore offer him a major pay rise, potentially increasing his annual salary from an estimated €14 million to around €25 million. The Olise camp would reportedly also want a release clause included in any new deal, potentially worth more than €200 million.
As for interested clubs, SPORT BILD explicitly names Real Madrid and Liverpool as teams continuing to monitor Olise. The German outlet does not mention Paris Saint-Germain. However, that does not mean PSG have decided to drop their interest: the report does not claim that Paris have withdrawn from talks or given up on the player, but simply does not list the French champions among the clubs currently identified as suitors.
The situation therefore remains wide open. Bayern sporting director Max Eberl said in early September that the club want clarity on Olise’s intentions regarding a possible extension by next summer at the latest. If no agreement is reached, his future could quickly become one of the biggest transfer sagas of 2027.
