Marco Asensio’s future at Paris Saint-Germain seems increasingly uncertain. The Spanish midfielder, who joined PSG in the summer of 2023, has struggled to establish himself under Luis Enrique. With limited playing time, he was loaned to Aston Villa, where he has quickly adapted and impressed.
According to Diario AS, Aston Villa is satisfied with Asensio’s performances and is already considering negotiations with PSG for a permanent transfer. The English club sees the 29-year-old as a valuable asset and intends to keep him beyond this season. Talks between both clubs are expected to begin soon.
Meanwhile, another PSG player on loan, Milan Skriniar, is also making a strong impression. The 30-year-old Slovak defender, who arrived from Inter Milan in 2023, struggled to secure a spot in Paris and was loaned to Fenerbahçe for the remainder of the 2024-2025 season.
Skriniar Too
Sports Digitale reports that Skriniar has already convinced his new club with his defensive stability and experience. Although his PSG contract runs until 2028, Fenerbahçe may explore the possibility of a permanent move if he continues to perform well.
With both Asensio and Skriniar finding success away from Paris, PSG could seize the opportunity in the next transfer window to offload players who no longer fit into the club’s project while reinvesting in new reinforcements.
