As the Spanish coach keeps adding trophies to his collection in Paris, his contract extension is now reportedly very close to being completed. The new deal is expected to run until 2030, with only a few final details left to settle before it is officially finalized.

The timing partly explains why the announcement has not yet been made. Between the squad’s return, the UEFA Super Cup, the Trophée des Champions, the transfer window and several internal matters, PSG have had other immediate priorities to deal with. According to La Source Parisienne, everything is already agreed in principle, with only “two or three details” still to be finalized. Luis Enrique’s new contract should ultimately be aligned with that of Luis Campos and run until 2030.

The extension goes beyond the future of the Paris coach alone. PSG also want to secure the long-term structure built around Nasser Al-Khelaifi, Luis Campos and Luis Enrique.
