Paris Saint-Germain are already planning for the future and have reportedly identified Eduardo Conceição as one of their major targets for the coming years. The French champions could even move this summer to secure the highly rated Brazilian prospect.
According to PSG Inside Actus, the plan would be to sign Conceição now before allowing him to continue his development in Brazil until 2027. PSG would therefore secure the player early rather than risk seeing his valuation rise considerably over the next few seasons.
PSG considering a €45m-€60m offer
Paris could reportedly submit an offer worth between €45 million and €60 million to convince his current club to sell. Such an investment would underline just how highly Conceição is rated by the PSG hierarchy, who reportedly believe he could develop into one of Brazilian football’s next major talents.
However, PSG are unlikely to have a clear run at the youngster. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea and several other major European clubs are also said to be monitoring his development. Paris hope their long-term sporting project and willingness to move early could give them an advantage.
The strategy would fit PSG’s desire to invest in young players with significant potential. By signing Conceição early and leaving him in Brazil to develop, Paris could prepare his eventual arrival in Europe for 2027 while avoiding an even more expensive transfer battle in the future.
