Paris Saint-Germain are accelerating negotiations for Bournemouth defender Ilya Zabarnyi, with the Club World Cup in sight.
According to Le Parisien and RMC Sport, the 22-year-old Ukrainian centre-back—under contract with Bournemouth until 2028—has become a top priority for PSG this summer. The club is keen to bolster its defensive core ahead of a packed international calendar.
Although no official bid has yet been submitted, talks between both clubs have intensified in recent days. PSG first identified Zabarnyi as a target back in October, and now the deal is entering a more advanced stage.
The Parisian board sees this signing as a key part of their transfer strategy and are pushing to close it quickly.
