Gavi has broken his silence on rumours linking him with Paris Saint-Germain, firmly shutting down any idea of a transfer.

Back in 2023, the 19-year-old midfielder was reportedly on PSG’s radar following the arrival of Luis Enrique—his former Spain coach who gave him his debut with La Roja. At the time, Gavi was seen as a realistic target. But in the end, nothing materialised.

Now, in an interview with Mundo Deportivo, the Barça talent has addressed the speculation directly: “People can believe whatever they want, but it’s not going to happen. I’m calm here.”

PSG now has Doué

Asked if he could see himself joining PSG one day, he didn’t hesitate: “My dream is to stay at Barcelona my whole career. This is the club of my life. I’ll do everything to stay.”

The message couldn’t be clearer: despite past interest, Gavi has never seriously considered leaving the Camp Nou. And with PSG now building a new project around rising stars like Désiré Doué and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, that chapter looks well and truly closed.
