According to PSG Inside Actus on X, the rumors of a new loan for Xavi Simons are simply false.
Will PSG bring back Xavi Simons? Maybe… but according to PSG Inside Actus on X, a new loan is not at all on the cards. The rumor of a loan or a return to Barça therefore seems completely ruled out.
“It is certain that the player will not be loaned for another year, if he does not extend with Paris Saint-Germain. Paris is unlikely to loan him for another year (in case of non-extension), knowing that after that, he will have only 2 years left, so he would only spend one year at Paris Saint-Germain before being transferred, otherwise he could lose the player for free,” explains this source.
PSG therefore wants to extend Xavi Simons quickly, and Luis Enrique wants to integrate him into his group. The player, however, would wait to see PSG’s recruitment to know if a starting spot is possible. Nothing is therefore settled, between an extension and a sale. But a loan seems more than excluded…
