Ultra-quiet week for PSG. After a hard-fought victory in Lyon and an overcrowded infirmary, the Parisian club enters a complete breathing period. Very little training, a lot of recovery: the staff prioritizes rest and physical management before the international break.
PSG begins its week with a clear priority: recovery. After a start to the season marked by a series of matches and an impressive string of injuries, Luis Enrique has granted rest starting Monday. A welcome break for a group that is physically and mentally exhausted. Of course, this will not be a break for the many internationals…
Training, rest
From Tuesday to Friday, Paris will train at the PSG Campus, but behind closed doors. No press access, no open sessions: the club wants to work calmly, away from prying eyes, to allow the available players to maintain their rhythm while protecting the many recovering players. This closed bubble should also help adjust the defensive automatisms, which have been weakened in recent weeks.
The end of the week will again be focused on rest. On Saturday and Sunday, no sessions are scheduled. The goal is clear: recharge the batteries before the resumption, allow the key players to rest, and enable the injured to progress in their rehabilitation. A minimalist week, designed to stabilize a squad that clearly needs to take a break.
