PSG returns to the Parc des Princes after the international break, with a match against Le Havre that promises to be tactically interesting. Didier Digard, coach of HAC, has been very clear: there is no question of parking the bus.
PSG – Le Havre: back at the Parc and an opponent who refuses to “park the bus.” This first match after the international break should not be boring. Asked before the trip to Paris, Digard explained his philosophy straightforwardly.
“I would not park the bus against PSG. I wouldn’t do it because I don’t know how to do it and it doesn’t make me happy. I am convinced that when you convey a message you believe in, the players buy into it more easily. What brings you continuity is your content, not the result.”
“You won’t play PSG every weekend”
For the Havre coach, defending with ten players makes no sense, even against a Parisian attack capable of breaking any organization.
“If you park the bus and by chance you draw, it offers you no guarantees. You won’t be able to reproduce that every weekend. Then, if you play well but lose, you still have things to build on, knowing that you won’t play PSG every weekend.”
The message is clear: Le Havre will play, dare, and will not renounce its principles, even at the Parc. It remains to be seen whether this ambition will lead to an open match… or a very long evening for the Normans.
