PSG. “I am not a doctor”: Luis Enrique’s cold response on Dembélé’s return

Two days before PSG’s return to Ligue 1 against Le Havre, Luis Enrique held a dense press conference, where he spoke about rugby, stands, expectations, individual trophies, injuries, and concentration after the break, all with several strong statements that reveal his state of mind.

On his inspirations for going up to the stands, the Spaniard surprised: “I mentioned rugby because it’s a sport I don’t know but I like. I admire how they manage emotions and that energy.” He also admits to watching matches from above whenever he can: “It’s important… I’m simply trying to do everything I can to improve my performance.”

Regarding Le Havre, the coach is wary of a tricky match: “The first matches after the break… it’s easy not to be focused enough. It will be difficult.”

On the return of Ousmane Dembélé, Luis Enrique remains cautious: “I don’t know, I am not a doctor. He is improving his fitness. Maybe he will start training. We need to stay attentive and I will see how he is in training. In the coming weeks, we will see Ousmane Dembélé on the field.” He also explained that he worked with a very small group during the break: “There are very few players left… tactically, you can’t do much.”
