Good news for Paris Saint-Germain just two weeks before the Champions League final against Arsenal. The Parisian club provided reassuring updates on several injured players ahead of Sunday night’s trip to face Paris FC.
In its medical report released after Friday’s training session, PSG confirmed that Willian Pacho, Nuno Mendes, Quentin Ndjantou, Achraf Hakimi and Lucas Chevalier had all resumed individual training. However, none of them will be fit to face Paris FC.
Zaïre-Emery and Lee Back for the Derby
It remains an important step in their recovery, even if Luis Enrique is expected to stay extremely cautious ahead of the European final on May 30 in Budapest.
Another major boost for Paris: Warren Zaïre-Emery and Lee Kang-In are no longer listed in the club’s medical update. Both players are therefore considered fit and should return to the squad for the derby against Paris FC.
As the biggest match of the season against Arsenal approaches, Luis Enrique is gradually recovering almost his entire squad. Perfect timing for a PSG side that is clearly building momentum ahead of the Champions League final.
