Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a major move in the transfer market. According to L’Équipe du Soir, Michael Olise has become one of the top priorities for Luis Enrique and Luis Campos as they look to strengthen the club’s attack this summer.
What if most of the French national team’s attack ended up at PSG, with the exception of Kylian Mbappé? After a remarkable season with Bayern Munich, the 24-year-old French international is now widely regarded as one of the best attacking players in Europe. With 22 goals and 31 assists in 52 appearances across all competitions, Olise has reached a new level, and his recent hat-trick for France against Northern Ireland only enhanced his growing reputation.
Bayern Demand a Massive Fee for Olise
According to PSGInside-Actus, PSG have been tracking Michael Olise for several years. The Parisian club had already attempted to sign him during his time at Crystal Palace, but Bayern Munich ultimately won the race. Today, however, the German giants view the former Palace star as a cornerstone of their long-term project and have no intention of selling him.
Reports from Germany suggest Bayern would not even begin negotiations for less than €200 million. Such a fee appears completely incompatible with PSG’s current financial strategy, which is far more cautious than in previous years. Under contract until 2029, Olise has also never indicated any desire to leave Munich and seems perfectly settled in Bavaria after just one season.
The only scenario that could potentially reopen discussions would involve Bayern’s interest in certain PSG players. Bradley Barcola is highly rated in Germany, while Fabian Ruiz has previously attracted attention from the Bundesliga champions. A partial swap deal could theoretically be considered, although there is currently no indication that such talks are taking place. Luis Enrique admires Olise’s profile, Luis Campos continues to monitor the situation, and PSG still dream of bringing him to Paris, but for now, a transfer appears far more like a fantasy than a realistic possibility.
