Gonçalo Ramos is leaving PSG, but not without emotion. After three seasons in Paris, the Portuguese striker posted a long farewell message on Instagram, thanking the club, his teammates and the supporters.
Everyone will remember it. Gonçalo Ramos was exemplary at PSG. A luxury substitute who never questioned his role, the Portuguese forward leaves after three seasons in the shadows, but without regrets. “Today, one of the most significant chapters of my career comes to an end,” Ramos wrote, clearly moved as he turned the page on his Parisian adventure. The former Benfica striker said wearing the PSG shirt was “a privilege and an honor” that he will always carry with him.
Ramos Leaves PSG With Gratitude and Emotion
The Portuguese player also looked back on the great moments he experienced in the capital. “Together, we wrote an unforgettable story. We won two Champions League titles as well as several other trophies,” he recalled, before mentioning memories that will be “forever engraved” in the minds of the squad. Ramos also thanked everyone he worked with during his time in Paris: “I want to thank my teammates, the coaching staff, the management and, above all, the supporters. Thank you for believing in me.”
It was a powerful message from a player who says he is leaving “a piece of his heart” at PSG. “PSG will always remain a home for me,” Ramos added, proud to have helped write a page in the club’s history. His departure therefore comes with great respect, gratitude and attachment.
The emotion also came from Gonçalo Ramos’ wife, who published a beautiful message dedicated to Paris. “Paris, it’s been three years. Three years of Boo. A marriage proposal. Two pregnancies. A baby,” she wrote, recalling how deeply the capital marked their family life. The couple now leaves Paris with heavy hearts, but full of memories. “We leave with full hearts, but with a part of ourselves staying here,” she concluded. A tender farewell, confirming that PSG and Paris will always hold a special place in their story.
