Marseille target former PSG talent Ethan Mbappé

Before joining Lille, Ethan Mbappé spent most of his youth career at Paris Saint-Germain. Having arrived at the club at a very young age, he progressed through the academy ranks, signed his first professional contract and eventually made his senior debut with the first team. His time in Paris was also closely linked to that of his brother, Kylian Mbappé, with the two sharing the PSG dressing room during the 2023-24 season before both departed at the end of their respective contracts.

Ethan then chose Lille to continue his development and gain more regular playing time. At just 19 years old, the French midfielder is still considered to have significant potential. However, completing the deal will not be easy.

Under contract with Lille until June 2027 and valued at around €10 million, he would represent a major financial commitment for a Marseille side that must continue to keep a close eye on its finances and satisfy the DNCG. A direct move from a PSG academy graduate to Marseille would inevitably become one of the most talked-about transfers of the summer.
