Paris Saint-Germain are not only shining on the pitch. The French capital club have also recorded excellent academic results, with 97% of their young male and female players passing the 2026 baccalaureate.
PSG achieved a 97% pass rate in the 2026 baccalaureate, well above the national average of 91.4%. A total of 33 young Parisian footballers sat the exams this year: 14 in the STMG programme, nine in the general stream and 10 in vocational studies.
A Major Academic Success for PSG’s Academy
These results highlight PSG’s determination to support their young players beyond their sporting development. For several years, the club have stressed the importance of education and preparing for life after football, as not every academy player will go on to become a professional.
The 97% pass rate is an extremely positive outcome for the Parisian academy. It rewards the hard work of the students, as well as the teachers, coaches and staff responsible for balancing academic demands with training sessions and competitions.
This achievement confirms that PSG’s academy is about more than football. The club also aim to provide their young players with a complete environment that supports their sporting, academic and personal success.
