Paris Saint-Germain are not planning to stop after the expected arrival of Lucas Digne. Having strengthened the left-back position with a backup for Nuno Mendes, the French champions have now reportedly made signing a right-back one of their next priorities during the summer transfer window.
According to PSG Inside Actus, the Parisian club wants quality depth in every position. Right-back is no exception, with the board determined to provide Achraf Hakimi with a genuine rotation option for the demanding campaign ahead.
PSG Looking for a Reliable Right-Back Option
Hakimi remains an undisputed starter in Luis Enrique’s plans, but his heavy workload and the growing number of matches have convinced PSG that he needs reliable support. With domestic competitions, the UEFA Champions League and international commitments all on the schedule, the Moroccan international is expected to face another intense season.
Club officials are reportedly evaluating several profiles that fit Luis Enrique’s tactical demands. The priority is an experienced, technically reliable defender capable of thriving in an attack-minded system while accepting a rotational role behind one of PSG’s key players. Alessandro Circati is currently the only name to emerge publicly, with the Parma defender offering the versatility to play both at centre-back and right-back. However, other candidates are also being considered as PSG continue working on additional reinforcements before the transfer window closes.
