Paris Saint-Germain intends to remain particularly selective during the final weeks of the transfer window. Despite Luis Campos exploring several options, the French capital club does not want to stockpile players or complete a signing simply to reassure its supporters.
Could PSG end the summer without making a single signing? Several players have already left, including Gonçalo Ramos and Kang-in Lee, while Randal Kolo Muani is also expected to depart. Bradley Barcola could follow, meaning the squad may need reinforcements—or perhaps not.
PSG Will Only Recruit the Right Profiles
According to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, sources close to PSG insist that Paris will not recruit merely for the sake of recruiting. A signing will only be approved if the targeted player meets all the sporting, financial and personal criteria established by the club’s management.
PSG’s main priority remains strengthening its attack. Luis Enrique would like to add a versatile player capable of operating through the middle or out wide. Ferran Torres and Maghnes Akliouche have both been linked with the club, while Luis Campos continues to examine alternative options. Paris are also looking for a versatile right-back who can compete with Achraf Hakimi and cover other defensive positions. Goalkeeper Zion Suzuki is being monitored as a potential long-term investment, possibly followed by a loan move.
Signing a midfielder is not considered a priority, as PSG believe they already have enough options in that area. The club would only act in the event of an exceptional opportunity or an unexpected departure. The strategy is therefore clear: Paris remain active in the market but will neither overpay for their targets nor sign a player who does not fully meet Luis Enrique’s requirements.
