Juventus want to accelerate negotiations for Randal Kolo Muani. After already welcoming the French striker on loan, the Italian club now hope to quickly reach a permanent agreement with Paris Saint-Germain.
Randal Kolo Muani was absent from the official pictures of PSG’s return to training on Monday. At the Poissy Campus, the striker is keeping fit away from the first-team squad alongside the club’s youngsters. He has not yet been placed in a separate group, but the message is clear: he must leave. In Italy, there is growing confidence that the situation will move quickly.
Juventus Push for a Deal This Week
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus officials want to complete the operation this week. Talks are continuing between the two clubs over a new loan deal including a mandatory purchase clause, which would be automatically triggered if Juventus qualify for European competition. The formula would allow the Italian side to reduce its immediate financial risk while giving PSG guarantees over a future permanent transfer.
Paris are nevertheless paying close attention to the exact terms of the agreement. The French champions do not want another loan without solid guarantees and hope to receive around €50 million to €55 million for the former Eintracht Frankfurt forward. Signed for approximately €90 million in the summer of 2023, Kolo Muani never truly established himself in Luis Enrique’s system before joining Juventus on loan.
The positions of all parties now appear to be closer. Juventus want to keep Kolo Muani, the player is open to returning to Turin and PSG are determined to move on permanently. The two clubs must still agree on the conditions attached to the mandatory purchase clause and the final value of the transfer.
