Paris Saint-Germain are exploring a move for Malo Gusto. The French right-back could leave Chelsea this summer after being pushed towards the exit by the London club.
Could another France international join PSG? Malo Gusto, who featured at the World Cup, is reportedly attracting strong interest from Paris. Luis Enrique is said to have approved his profile as the club looks to provide genuine competition for Achraf Hakimi.
Chelsea demand a huge fee for Malo Gusto
However, there is one major obstacle: Chelsea are reportedly demanding around £75 million, approximately €88 million, for the former Lyon defender. That valuation has slowed discussions for now. PSG appreciate Gusto’s pace, attacking ability and experience at the highest level, but would likely need to negotiate a significantly lower fee to complete a deal.
PSG are therefore keeping several alternatives in mind. Strasbourg right-back Guéla Doué, the brother of Désiré Doué, is among the players being considered. His versatility is particularly attractive to the Parisian hierarchy, as he is also capable of playing in central defence.
Other defensive options are also being monitored. Club Brugge centre-back Joel Ordóñez remains on Luis Campos’ radar, while young Lens goalkeeper Robin Risser is viewed as a potential option for the future. PSG want to keep several possibilities open before making final decisions on their next defensive signings.
