Lucas Digne’s return to Paris Saint-Germain naturally has a special meaning for Marquinhos. The two players joined the club around the same time and, several years later, now find themselves wearing the same colors once again.
Marquinhos and Lucas Digne have been reunited years later. Speaking at a press conference, the PSG captain emotionally discussed their reunion at the PSG Campus, reflecting on the journey both players have taken since their early days in the French capital. “Lucas arrived the same year as me. He was hungry and had a lot he wanted to achieve. Today, we are together again,” Marquinhos explained.
Digne remains part of Marquinhos’ PSG story
The Brazilian defender also described their first real reunion in training: “We hugged each other and congratulated one another on everything we have experienced.” Marquinhos made no secret of his happiness at seeing the former France international back in a PSG shirt.
