Paris Saint-Germain will have to navigate a particularly demanding start to the season. After drawing away at Rennes on the opening matchday of Ligue 1, the Parisian club is now preparing for several difficult fixtures over the coming weeks.
PSG will have little time to settle into their rhythm. The first obstacle comes with a trip to Lille on Friday, August 28. Paris will then return to the Parc des Princes on September 4 to host AS Monaco, their only home game during this four-match stretch.
Three Away Games in Four Matches for PSG
After facing Monaco, Luis Enrique’s side will immediately hit the road again. PSG travel to Brest on September 13 before playing the first Classique of the season away to Olympique de Marseille on September 20. Their next four Ligue 1 fixtures are: August 28, Lille vs PSG; September 4, PSG vs AS Monaco; September 13, Brest vs PSG; and September 20, Marseille vs PSG.

In total, Paris will therefore play three of their next four Ligue 1 matches away from home, ending the sequence with consecutive trips to Brest and Marseille. It is a challenging run for Luis Enrique, who is still managing his squad during the early weeks of the campaign.
The demanding schedule comes just before the major international window between late September and early October. Since 2026, FIFA has combined this international period into a 16-day window that can include up to four matches, adding another significant workload for PSG’s international players.
