Angers vs PSG: Paris close in on the title, player ratings

Away at Angers SCO, Paris Saint-Germain delivered a controlled and convincing performance to secure a 3-0 win this Saturday on Matchday 31 of Ligue 1. A dominant display from start to finish, even though PSG ended the match with ten men following Gonçalo Ramos’ red card.

Paris quickly took control of the game, dictating the tempo and dominating possession from the opening minutes. After an early scare, Luis Enrique’s side opened the scoring through Lee Kang-in (8’), who reacted quickest after an initial save from Koffi. With nearly 80% possession, PSG completely suffocated Angers, creating numerous chances while limiting the hosts’ attacking opportunities.

Despite a disallowed goal for Angers due to offside, PSG remained in full control. Just before halftime, Senny Mayulu doubled the lead (39’) after a perfectly timed pass from Lucas Beraldo.

After the break, PSG quickly sealed the game. From a corner, Beraldo capped off his excellent performance with a header (52’), making it 3-0. From there, Paris managed the match comfortably, controlling possession and tempo against a powerless Angers side.

Ramos sent off, but PSG remain in control

The only negative came in the 74th minute, when Gonçalo Ramos was sent off after receiving a second yellow card. Even down to ten men, PSG stayed composed and never looked in danger. Angers pushed late on but were denied by a solid Matvei Safonov, who recovered well after an earlier mistake.

With 16 shots to Angers’ 4 and complete control of the game, PSG confirmed their superiority and took another big step toward the title. Focused, efficient, and dominant, Paris continue their strong run ahead of crucial upcoming fixtures.
