PSG officially clinches its 12th French champions title after Monaco’s defeat to Lyon.

It’s done. And without even playing: with Lyon’s victory over Monaco this Sunday evening, PSG secures its third consecutive French championship title, the 10th since QSI’s arrival in 2011, and the 12th in its history.

Making history

Another step towards Luis Enrique’s declared goal: achieving a historic quadruple, including the Champions League and the French Cup final, as well as the Trophee des Champions.

“It’s motivating to achieve what has never been done before in France, especially to be able to make history for our club, the supporters, for the city, and if it can be for the country, even better, it’s perfect. That motivates us,” Luis Enrique said this week.
