Michael Olise’s future could soon become one of the biggest stories of the summer transfer window. According to L’Équipe, the Bayern Munich forward has privately made no secret of his desire to join Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants are becoming an increasingly realistic destination. Olise has reportedly gathered extensive information about the club, its internal structure, and life in Madrid. During the World Cup, the former Crystal Palace winger is said to have spoken with several of his France teammates to learn more about the move.
Olise Seriously Considering a Move to Madrid
Kylian Mbappé and Aurélien Tchouaméni were among the players reportedly approached by the Bayern star, who wanted a better understanding of the Real Madrid environment. Those conversations are seen as further evidence that the 24-year-old is seriously considering a transfer to Spain this summer.
Meanwhile, Dayot Upamecano has not given up hope of convincing his teammate to remain in Germany. The Bayern defender has reportedly spent weeks joking with Olise while also stressing the club’s ability to compete for major trophies in a stable and ambitious environment. Despite those efforts, Olise’s priority now appears to be a move to Real Madrid. Bayern, however, have no intention of making a deal easy and could demand a fee between €150 million and €230 million before even considering letting one of their key players leave.
