Ibrahim Mbaye’s future could lie away from Paris Saint-Germain. According to Mundo Deportivo, Borussia Dortmund are currently the club showing the strongest interest in signing the young PSG winger.
The German side are looking to strengthen their attack and reportedly see Mbaye as the ideal replacement for Karim Adeyemi, who has left the club to join FC Barcelona. Mbaye’s pace, explosiveness, and attacking qualities are believed to perfectly match Dortmund’s plans for next season.
Dortmund Step Up Pursuit of PSG Talent
PSG are said to be open to letting the youngster leave during the summer transfer window. Several European clubs have already made enquiries about his situation, but Dortmund appear to have moved ahead of the competition.
Talks between the two clubs are reportedly already underway as they look to reach an agreement. Paris would not rule out a sale if a satisfactory offer is submitted, with a fee close to €30 million potentially enough to complete the deal. While significant for such a young player, Dortmund are considered willing to invest in one of Europe’s most promising talents, making Mbaye a priority target as negotiations could accelerate in the coming weeks.
