Godts took his game to another level at Ajax

After making his Eredivisie debut at just 17, Godts gradually established himself in Ajax’s rotation. His direct style, ability to carry the ball and beat defenders one-on-one earned him increasing responsibility. His development accelerated over the past two seasons, with 8 goals and 7 assists in 47 appearances in 2024-2025 before recording an impressive 17 goals and 15 assists in 44 games during the 2025-2026 campaign.

Those numbers made him one of Ajax’s most productive attacking players and attracted interest from several major European clubs. PSG ultimately decided to invest in the Belgian international as part of the ongoing reshaping of their attacking options.

Having represented Belgium at youth level before earning his first senior appearances for the Red Devils, Godts will now look to take another step forward under Luis Enrique. The new Paris player said he was proud to join “one of the best clubs in the world” and eager to experience the Parc des Princes and its supporters.

He also promised to “give everything” to repay the confidence shown in him by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Luis Campos and Luis Enrique.
